Weekend 2: AWSC - Tera South and East RTS 2024/25

With a weekend focused on boat speed off the start line, the Southern squad travelled to the East for a joint weekend training at Alton Water Sailing Club.

We were fortunate to join the Eastern Regional Training Squad for a joint weekend and with the larger number of sailors, we focused on the areas from 30 seconds before the start (trigger pulls and hovering) until a few minutes after the start (lane holding and boat speed). We had glamour conditions to test these areas with a steady 10-15 knots from the SW all weekend (and the sun even came out for the Sunday!).

We hope all of the sailors enjoyed the joint training and met new friends which will later be on the racetrack with later in the 2025 season. Thanks to all of the sailors, parents, organisers and coaches.
