1. Who We Are

  • Online coaching via Zoom

  • On-the-water coaching sessions

  • A paid subscription service with monthly benefits

  • A shop selling coaching materials and sailing hardware

  • A subscriber-only online community for discussion and support

3. Eligibility

 

You must be:

  • 18 years or older to purchase or subscribe

  • Or have a parent/guardian's consent if under 18

 

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates these Terms or any of our policies, including our Safeguarding Policy.

 

4. Booking and Payments

  • Coaching sessions, both online and in-person, must be booked in advance.

  • Payments are processed securely via trusted third parties (e.g., Stripe or PayPal).

  • Subscription services are billed monthly or annually, depending on your chosen plan.

  • You are responsible for providing accurate contact, health, and emergency information during booking.

 

5. Cancellations and Refunds

 

On-the-water coaching:

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a session may be refunded or rescheduled.

  • No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours unless due to exceptional circumstances (at our discretion).

 

Online services:

  • Zoom session fees are non-refundable unless cancelled by us.

  • Subscription payments are non-refundable once billed, but you may cancel future billing at any time.

 

6. Health and Safety

 

By participating in any on-the-water activity:

  • You confirm that you are physically fit to take part.

  • You agree to follow safety instructions from coaches at all times.

  • You disclose any medical conditions that may impact your participation.

 

Under-18s must be accompanied by or registered by a parent or guardian.

7. Conduct and Community Standards

 

All users agree to:

  • Be respectful in online and in-person interactions

  • Not post or share harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content

  • Comply with our Safeguarding Policy and Privacy Policy

  • Avoid unauthorised sharing or reproduction of our content

 

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to services or communities if you breach these expectations.

 

8. Intellectual Property

 

All content provided through Apex Sailing, including coaching materials, publications, videos, and blog posts, is owned by or licensed to us.

 

You may not:

  • Reproduce, share, or sell our content without permission

  • Claim any part of our content as your own

 

Personal use is permitted where clearly stated.
