Tera Nationals 2024 - Thorpe Bay Yacht Club

Recently support the Southern Squad at the Tera Nationals 2024. The event spanned several days, starting with one day of practice followed by three full days of intense racing. My role was to provide support to the sailors, helping them stay focused and perform at their best throughout the championship. It was an incredible experience, both for me as a coach and for the sailors, many of whom delivered outstanding performances across both the Pro and Sport rig categories.

The practice day was a great opportunity to get everyone into the right mindset. Once the championship began, the focus shifted to ensuring the sailors stayed mentally sharp and physically ready across all three days of competition.

By the end of the championship, the Southern Squad had achieved some fantastic results. A total of 11 sailors from our group made it into the top 10 across both the Pro and Sport rig fleets, which was an incredible outcome. Overall, the Tera Nationals 2024 was a huge success for the Southern Squad.
