Focus Areas

Off the Start Line (Diamonds 1–3):

  • Focus on acceleration and boat speed. Sail towards the favoured side of the course based on wind shifts and fleet positioning.

Mid-Course (Diamonds 4–6):

  • Execute the race plan while adapting to wind gusts and shifts. Keep an eye on the fleet’s movements to make tactical adjustments.

Final Approach (Diamonds 7–9):

  • Position yourself strategically for the windward mark. Optimize lay lines to overtake competitors and minimize extra distance sailed.

Why should you use this tool?
