"Less wind today meaning tidal influence will play a large part in racing today. Possible wind bend into Thorpe Bay as the wind clocks right as the ay goes on."
Key Weather Details
Wind: 8/10 knots gusting 12/16 from W
Tide: High water 15:56 (5.32m) - beginning to come off springs
Water State: Small chop for the first part of the day wind over tide, but then the wind begins to weaken off so expect some flatter waters.
Temperature & Precipitation: 17 degrees rising to 22 with some sunny spells through the day.
Other Notes: As it is a little lighter the breeze, the trigger off the right end of the startline would be key. With the direction of the tide, you may want to start further left for slightly deeper water if racing nearer the channel or if the course is closer to the shore, start on the right to look for the wind bend from the land.

Day Breakdown
Sunday:

Tactical Considerations
Some of the wind models have slight differences in direction but the majority suggest that the wind should be clocking a little right as the day goes on. As the wind begins to come from the West with a little North in it, we begin to see a slight bend in the wind as it fills into Thorpe Bay. Further to the right of the course, port tack will lift and starboard tack will head. So with that potentially, middle right of the course could be favourable.
